Slap Ninja!

We're are incredibly lucky to be sent another great game to review! This time it's Slap Ninja!

When I heard we'd be getting the chance to review Slap Ninja I was really looking forward to it, especially as this is one of the many items that our 5 year old, JJ, has ticked in a certain toy catalogue for Christmas!

Made by JAKKS Toys, you may have spotted Slap Ninja's ad on the TV! As JJ is now a karate student he declared he obviously NEEDED to give it a try for himself, which lead to a big tick against it.

As a grownup one of the first things I noticed was that there's minimal packaging, especially on the plastic side of things. A win for the environment and your recycling bin at Christmas if you're considering this for a gift.

It's quite a compact game too and this is one we'll definitely be able to take with us on our caravan holidays or when we go to visit family.

The two player game is easy to play, with one person taking on the role of student and the other the master. Each player holds one of the handles and the student has to try and press the ninjas coin, as the ninja defends it by pressing his handle in defence.

There's a voiceover to help you along and the ninja stars against each player light up to show you who's in the lead. The winner gets the glory and the loser gets a buzzing shock from the handle.

With just a button to flick and no boards or parts to set up, Slap Ninja is a game you can play quickly, easily and pretty much anywhere! We've been playing all afternoon and so far JJ and I have been glowing in the glory but Daddy isn't quite a Slap Ninja champion just yet!
