Cookies. Chocolate chip, fudge, cherry, we love cookies. We probably love them enough to rival the Cookie Monster!!
When I bake cookies I'm always the best mummy and wife ever, and I also become very popular with family and friends. I decided I wanted to try a new recipe and I'm glad I did as these are yummy!
- 125g butter or baking spread
- 100g light brown sugar
- 125g caster sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 225g self raising flour
- 200g sultanas
- 3 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- Baking tray
- Greaseproof paper
- Mixing bowl
- Whisk or wooden spoon
- Sieve
- Spatula or knife
- Wire rack
Preheat the oven to 180c and line the baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Place the butter and sugar into the bowl and mix well.
Add the beaten egg and mix well again.
Sift in the flour and mix.
Add the cinnamon and sultanas and mix well.
Make the mixture into balls and place onto the baking tray. Cook for 7 minutes for a soft cookie or for 10 for a harder biscuit.
Leave to partially cool on the tray before using the spatula to transfer onto a wire rack to cool.
Eat and enjoy!
Mmmmmmmmmmm cookies!
