CareCo Resistance Band



As a sufferer of Fibromyalgia strengthening my body is important to me. 

Exercise and better eating can help many of those struggling with Fibro, as can strengthening the joints and core. Things like yoga and exercising and stretching with a resistance band can be hard work to begin with but eventually make you strong.

I've had a few Fibro flares recently and I've been quite wobbly on my feet so I've been trying my best to make myself stronger.

To do this I've been using one of the CareCo Resistance Bands and following their 4 week plan.

Now, I'm going to be really honest and say I didn't think I'd be able to do it. I can't hold my arms up or out for long as it causes me a lot of pain an it's the same with my legs too. 

I was determined though to give it a try and I'm glad that I did.

Following the CareCo plan has helped my body get stronger and has eased the stiffness in my joints.

The exercises are easy to do and gradually get harder, making you stronger and stronger as you go.

I've also found that the pain I wake with has lessened and I can get going a little easier in the morning.

I'm hoping that with doing the school run on foot, eating better, having more salt baths and carrying on with the resistance exercise plan, I'll be able to face Fibromyalgia head on.
