Brain Jelly

Halloween is on it's way! Whether your plan to go trick or treating or have a big party, this brain jelly is an ideal little treat for Halloween.

Jelly shaped like a brain contained cable sweets that look like brains

It's easy to make and for little effort gives a great effect for not much effort!

Do you want to give it a try? Here's what you'll need!
  • Brain jelly mould - £2.00 @ Hobbycraft (mine was reduced to £1.00 due to damage)
  • 2 lime jellies - 55p each @ Asda
  • 2 packs of strawberry cable sweets - 25p @ Asda
  • Rainbow cable sweets - 25p @ Asda
  • Jug
  • Spoon
  • Hot and cold water

Ingredients and equipment listed

Start by making up the jelly as per the instructions. I used Hartley's cubed jelly as I find it sets better than granules when you're putting something within it.

Put all the sweets into the jelly mould. Make sure you mix the colours up.

Sweets in a jelly mould

Carefully pour in the melted jelly.
