Here's another craft activity for you! As always its cheap and cheerful!
You will need
- Red or pink paint (£1.00 @ The Works/Wilko/Poundland)
- Paint brush (99p @ Rymans or £1.00 @ Poundland)
- Bowl or container for paint - I tend to use a paper bowl or reuse a glass jar
- Card and envelope (£1.00 @ Poundland for a pack of 10)
- A piece of paper or card (£1.00 @ Poundland for 30 sheets)
- Pencil
- Glue (50p @ Wilko)
- Scissors
- Heart stencil/cutter - (£1.00 @ Tesco) This isn't essential though. You can simply draw them if you don't have them. I picked up the one pictured below super cheap and will use it often.
Obviously if you have to buy most of the items on the list the activity won't be cheap but I have put the prices in case you don't have one or two items and to give an idea of the costs.
Important!!! If your little ones are messy painters remember to protect your table/work surface/carpet/clothes/pets etc!! Keep a bowl of water or wet wipes nearby to clean up your little crafter.
Start by putting some of your paint in the bowl and layout your card or paper. Let you little one spread and splat the paint around with the paint brush as much as they want.
Leave to dry.
Cut the hearts out with the scissors.
Arrange on the card and glue down, layering them as you go.
Happy Crafting!
