This week's book of the week is The Bear Who Went Boo!
The story, by David Walliams, is the tale of a cheeky little polar bear who likes to go BOO!!!
Startling a number of his fellow Arctic animals, he makes a nuisance of himself frequently.
When a camera crew arrive the animals set about preparing for their moment on screen, that's until the naughty little polar bear comes along! Ruining the other Arctic animals preparations he then sets his sights on a species he hasn't seen before, a David Attenborough type man.
Startled by the little polar bear shouting boo he falls back into the freezing water! Once he's emerged and defrosted, the man is incredible cross and decides to make his documentary elsewhere.
The disappointed animals set about treating the naughty little bear a lesson and make him jump!
Upset by being scared and ruining the chance of being in a documentary the bear promises to not make anyone jump and go boo again.........or does he?!
The story is both funny and entertaining and the illustrations by Tony Ross are bold and attention grabbing. An entertaining book for your collection.
