Movie of the week!

On Friday morning in the rush to get out the door Joseph and Daddy walked into our bedroom to the tune of an oh so familiar tune. Clutching Daddy's phone Joseph climbed on to the bed and started to bounce as he shouted "DOG, DOGGY". I soon realised he was watching Netflix and two of my favourite characters! Wallace and Gromit!

This week's movie of the week is Wallace and Gromit - The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

Just as the other film shorts and full length features, The Curse of the Were-Rabbit features inventor Wallace and his intelligent, yet silent, dog Gromit. As the annual Giant Vegetable Competition approaches there is upset in the village as rabbits steal and eat the crops!

Wallace and Gromit set about dealing with the pests with their company Anti-Pesto! Ever the inventor Wallace invents the Mind Manipulation-O-Matic in an attempt to brainwash the bunnies into not liking veggies!

Things soon go wrong and there are reports of a giant rabbit in the town but were did it come from and will Wallace and Gromit be able to stop it?

With new characters in the shape of Lady Tottington and Lord Quartermaine, Peter Sallis, the voice of Wallace is joined by Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes. Peter Kay also makes an appearance as the local Policeman.

Fun, entertaining and witty, Wallace and Gromit and The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is a great family film. Joseph has been obsessed with it since last week and its quite an easy watch for us grownups as its not overly irritating. My favourite part is possibly Gromits dancing in the back of the van! Joseph's is probably when Wallace gets rabbit ears!

Wallace and Gromit and The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is currently available on Netflix and you can also buy it on Amazon for the bargain price of £2.76.

Enjoy!
