19 Books For 2019!

I love books and when I was younger I was a keen reader but as I've got older I've found that I barely read. Distracted by the TV or busy scrolling social media I rarely pick up a book, but do you know what I buy a lot of or ask for every birthday or Christmas?

BOOKS!!

Lots of books laid open with their pages showing

Yes, I realise how ridiculous this is!

So, I've made a vow to read 19 books for 2019!! I've seen some people do a 52 books for the year challenge, one for each week, but I need to be realistic so let's go with the 19!

The books I read are a huge mix and some are probably a little random! I read so many different books from autobiographies to thrillers, classics to self help.

This is my list so far..........

  1. Mumboss by Vicki Psarias
  2. The Life of Rylan by Rylan Clark-Neal
  3. A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
  4. Walt Disney : An American Original by Bob Thomas
  5. This is Going to Hurt : Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor by Adam Kay
  6. Part-Time Working Mummy : A Patchwork Life by Rachaele Hambleton
  7. Mary Poppins - The Complete Collection by P.L. Travers
  8. Walt Disney : The Biography by Neal Gabler
  9. The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
  10. Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling
  11. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
  12. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling
  13. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
  14. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling
  15. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling
  16. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
  17. The Mickey Mouse Museum : The Story of an Icon
  18. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
  19. A Royal Duty by Paul Burrell
That's my 19!! I have all of these books already so they'll be no expense. Some have been gifts and some are on loan. I've had a couple on loan for longer than I'd like to admit. I'm a pretty rubbish book borrower!

If by some sort of miracle I read all of these books during 2019, I'll challenge myself to do another 19! I'll be reviewing each book as I go, like I used to with Joseph's favourite books, so check back for those!

Do you fancy joining me by reading 19 books for 2019? What's on your reading list for this year? Let me know in the comments!
