5 Family Friendly Things To Do In Lanzarote

Sponsored Post

Holidays. Summer Holidays. Laying by the pool with the sun on your skin, chlorine in your hair, relaxing, may sipping a cocktail (or 3) can be amazing.

One of my favourite holidays was doing just this and is also happens to have been our honeymoon! Our two weeks in Lanzarote were so blissful and holds many happy memories for us.

We'd love to go back as a family and see what Holiday Gems Lanzarote has to offer. So I've done a little research into the top 5 places to visit in Lanzarote as a family!

1. Aqualava Water Park

Situated in Playa Blanca, Aqualava, offers pools, slides and a lazy river and is suitable for all ages. With a restaurant onsite it can easily fill a day with family fun.

2.The beaches of Playa Blanca

Beachfront hotels and bars

With the volcanic surroundings many believe all the sandy areas to be black sanded and rocky. Playa Blanca though offers golden and white sandy beaches. Great for sandcastle building!

3. Submarine Safaris

Yellow tourist submarine

Head to Puerto Calero and step aboard a yellow submarine and venture under the sea! Submarine Safaris offer a trip to the seabed to enjoy the marine life and shipwrecks without getting wet!!

4. Rancho Texas

Situated in Puerto Del Carmen, Rancho Texas offers a zoo type experience, along with pony rides and and a small water play area. There's also a very popular country night, which offers cowboy themed entertainment and Texas BBQ buffet. Yee-haw!

5. Timanfaya National Park

Desert mountain range

Experience the wonder of the volcanic and Mars like landscape. Also known as the Fire Mountain, Timanfaya offers amazing views over Lanzarote and a glimpse of the lava fields. Coach tours probably offer the best way to experience the tremendous landscape as you'll have a tour guide. They also go to the front of the queue so no waiting! Oh and don't forget the chance to ride a camel!
