A Very Snowy Christmas - 25 Weeks For An Organised Christmas Week 8

Welcome back to A Very Snowy Christmas, 25 Weeks For An Organised Christmas. As we head into week 8 it's time to get the diaries out as we make appointments and plans for the festive period.

This week is a very simple task and not all of you may need (or want) to do it, but it's time to crack your diaries open and grab your laptop or phone and book your panto tickets!!

It's a pretty simple thing to sort and book but if you're planning on going as a group and inviting family or friends along it might take some doing. For us though, it's just me, Daddy and JJ, so we workout when Daddy isn't working, when JJ's not at school, pick a day and decide which panto we want to see and whether we want an evening or matinee performance. Just for the three of us it takes some organising, so I feel for those of you who are negotiating and arranging group bookings!

For American readers that are reading this post and wondering what a pantomime is, it's a theatre show, usually based on a fairytale, family friendly but with the odd rude joke that only the parents understand. Shows start at the end of November and run into the New Year, with a show, sometimes two, in every city. Independent productions tend to be in later January. Most pantomime shows are made up of soap or TV stars, comedians and the odd reality music show contestant.

Fun fact.......I was a pantomime child star! But only for a couple of years and in local productions. Granny still has the evidence on VHS somewhere! Cringe!

Are you going to see a panto over the festive period? Let me know in the comment which you're going to see!

Keep the diary to hand ready for next week!
