5 Easy Self Care Moments

Collaborative Post

Whether you work full-time, part-time or are a stay at home parent, life can throw a lot at you.

If you start to feel a little bogged down and that everything is getting a bit much its important to take a step back and have some time to yourself. Maybe act as your own therapist. Being busy and stressed though doesn't always make this easy, so here are five easy self care things to do. Little moments for you.

Have a cup of tea and a slice of cake

Us Brits love our cups of tea and we're fond of a piece of cake too! In times of crisis we often dish out cups of sweet tea, like a band-aid to fix everything, no matter how big of small.

As a busy person you may never get to drink a cup of tea whilst its warm, so pop the kettle and cut yourself a piece of cake and sit in peace and quiet.

Move

A good walk, jog or bike ride will blow your cobwebs away and may help clear your head too.

You don't have to go for miles though. Ten minutes will do and it might be all you need.

Have a soak in the bath

Having a good soak and scrub can help wash your troubles away.

Bubble bath with a pink rubber duck

Add a bath bomb and slap on a face mask for a little extra pampering.

Read

Have you had a book lying around that you've been meaning to read for ages.

Pile of books with glasses on top

Find a quiet spot and transport yourself away by reading a few pages.

Have an early night

A busy life can be a tired life and you may have way too much to do to grab an early night.

Messy bed with white sheets

An early night though maybe just what you need. Head off to bed earlier and tackle your to do list in the morning. Your head will be clearer and you may even get things done easier and quicker once you've had a good rest. Maybe even treat yourself with clean sheets!

Now you have my easy self care tips go and have a moment for yourself.
