Our Favourite Disney Rides

Regular readers and those that follow me on social media will know that I love Disney and I'm lucky that my family do too.

As it will be a while until our next Disney holiday I've found myself reminiscing about our trips! I recently posted about how to get the best character interactions and now I thought I'd share our favourite rides!

Both myself, Daddy and our 4 year old, Joseph, have picked two rides each. One is a thrill ride and the other something more leisurely!

Daddy's favourite fast and thrilling ride!

Space Mountain!!

Daddy always pays a visit to Space Mountain and going on as a single rider usually means he jumps ahead of the queue.

Although I love a good rollercoaster, Space Mountain always throws me around a little too much but for Daddy it's his thrilling fave! Plus it's now got a cool Star Wars theme and has been renamed Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain!

Daddy's favourite leisurely ride!

Mad Hatter's Tea Cups!

It's not too leisurely in the hands of him but Daddy loves the teacups! It's not easy trying to squeeze someone as tall as him into one though but it's still one of his faves!

Every time we go for a spin Joseph lets out squeals and laughs of excitement so the teacups also hold wonderful memories for us.

Mummy's favourite fast and thrilling life!

The Twlight Zone Tower of Terror!!

My first ever go on the Tower of Terror was not long after it had first opened at Disney Studios in Florida. My sister and I queued for ages and came off with shaky legs and wobbly tummies!

I convinced Daddy to have a try during our trip to Walt Disney World in 2004, which happened to be it's anniversary and as a celebration the lift dropping ride was on a random drop sequence! So when you got on you had no idea how many times it would drop you. I loved it and thought it was hilarious! Daddy didn't agree at all!

Mummy's favourite leisurely ride!

Peter Pan's Flight!

As a huge fan of the book growing up, the Peter Pan ride was always going to have a special place in my heart.

Setting sail on board Captain Hook's pirate ship and flying over London and off to Neverland always makes us ooooooh and aaaaaah. Adding our little ones wows to that has made it even better.

Joseph's favourite fast and thrilling ride!

Big Thunder Mountain!

On our latest trip he made the height restriction and he loves a roller coaster, making Big Thunder Mountain one of his favourites.

Some kids shout with fear, Joseph squeals with excitement and wants the train to go even faster!

Joseph's favourite leisurely ride!

Le Carrousel de Lancelot!

Near to King Arthur's sword in the stone, Le Carrousel de Lancelot gives a traditional carousel ride experience and Joseph is a big fan.

With horses and music there's lots to love, and if you're there as night falls it is beautiful when it's lit up.

Have you got some certain rides at the Disney parks that you love and always have to do? Drop me a comment below! I'd love to know your faves!
