Those of you that have followed me on Instagram or Facebook for a while will know that last November we visited the Snowdome to take a look at their Winter Wonderland and we were super excited when they asked us back again this year!
Situated in Tamworth, the Snowdome offers year round skiing and snowboarding, as well as swimming, clip and climb and more! From mid-November to New Year's Eve part of the Snowdome transforms into a Winter Wonderland.
Staff greet you as you head down into the Winter Wonderland cave, where it's time to wrap up warm as a quirky character in period clothing keeps the crowd entertained and excited for entering the snowy wonderland.
Once inside you'll discover snowy pathways lined with trees and hundreds of twinkly lights. There are traditional wooden sleighs to pull the kids around on, which was something our 5 year old loved!!
There's also a selection of mini slopes and one big one that you can enjoying using the tubing rings! Again, our 5 year old, JJ, loved the slopes! As did Daddy! I was also much braver this year and had a few goes on the big slope!
Once our time on the slopes had come to an end, the festive show with Santa was next on the list. Funny, entertaining, with jokes for the kids and grownups, we laughed and sang along.
After the show we met a selection of Santa's furry friends and peeked in his house.
JJ rode on a carousel and wrote his letter to Santa too.
Just as last year we loved our time at the Snowdome's Winter Wonderland and it was the perfect for some family time before the hustle and bustle of Christmas. If you haven't planned to already, I'd recommend popping along to the Sndowdome for some Winter Wonderland fun.

P.S. The Snowdome was heavily effected by the flooding when we visited with a large section of the car park under water, but the staff excelled themselves! Alternative parking, a shuttle bus, maps and lots of extra staff directing visitors meant the problem had little effect on our day.
