The Benefits of Artificial Grass

Collaborative Post

Grass is a beautiful feature to any garden; however it is also high maintenance and sensitive to changing weather conditions. This is why artificial grass is becoming such a popular choice for many homeowners, especially parents who don't have the time to mow! If you’d like a low-maintenance lawn that looks fantastic all year round, then artificial grass could be the answer!

Here we take a look at some of the many benefits of artificial grass….

Patches
Natural grass lawns often develop bald spots or patches, in high-traffic or shady areas. Natural grass needs direct sunlight, whereas artificial grass does not require any sun to stay looking good. With an artificial lawn, you will see an even, beautiful, green coverage throughout the year.

Watering
Artificial grass does not need to be watered like natural grass, which means you can significantly reduce the amount you spend on your water bills if you happen to be on a water meter. This is particularly beneficial in the summer months, where you can use considerably more water to keep your grass looking healthy.

Cutting
Cutting the grass is a regular and necessary chore when you have a real grass lawn. With artificial grass, you will never have to cut the grass again! Artificial grass never grows, which means you will have a lot more spare time to spend sunbathing instead.

Hayfever
While installing artificial grass won’t actually cure your hay fever, it will certainly help to reduce your exposure to grass pollen. This will help to make it more comfortable when you want to spend time in your garden, without any of the unpleasant symptoms.

Mud
One of the biggest benefits of artificial grass is less mud. This is because artificial grass is installed with a base that separates it from the mud, but still allows rainwater to pass through it. This means no more muddy footprints around the house!!! Think of all the time that will be saved by not having to mop the floor!!

Overall, artificial grass is ideal for busy people, active families, who want to enjoy the garden but may not have the time for mowing, maintenance, muddy paws and dirty shoes!
