Yeti in My Spaghetti

Gifted

Our little boy is now 4 and the type of toys he plays with are changing. Suddenly he seems very grown up and he's started to take an interest in board games. As he does with many of the adverts on TV, there's lots of  'please, I have that' when he takes a shine to one, but with when it comes to board games I really felt he was just too little.

Recently, though I was offered the chance to review Yeti in My Spaghetti.

We'd spotted this on the TV and thought this could be something that would grab our 4 year old's attention and we were right!! From the minute that Yeti in My Spaghetti came into the house JJ wanted to play it.

He loves things like monsters and dinosaurs, so he was very taken by the yeti! As his interest was sparked immediately, JJ listened carefully to the rules and helped set the game up.

It's super easy to play. You simply crisscross the pieces of plastic spaghetti over each other and place the yeti in the centre.

You then take it in turns to remove a piece of spaghetti.

The person who makes the yeti fall is the loser. It's a little like Ker-Plunk but instead of marbles there's a yeti!!

We really enjoyed playing Yeti in My Spaghetti. Playing board games is something I did a lot of as a child but in days full of technology it's easy to go for a quick electronic form of entertainment. It was so nice to sit as a family and play this together.

I was completely taken back by how well JJ, the child known as the ginger hurricane, sat and played Yeti in My Spaghetti. He clearly listened to the instructions too as he won 3 times!!!

So, if you're looking for a game to play as a family, that even little ones can understand and play, then look in the direction of Yeti in My Spaghetti!

Oh and the bowl doubles as a hat!
