Movie of the week!

So, I'll admit it. We've been watching this week's festive movie of the week since the beginning of November!

It's one of my favourites and is the first film I watch when trying to get into the Christmas spirit.

This week's movie of the week is Elf!!

I expect most of you will have seen this film and it's probably a favourite with a lot of you! Just in case you haven't seen it though and as with my other movie of the week posts, I'll give you a little synopsis.

After living at the North Pole as an elf for what he believes is his entire life, Buddy discovers he is actually just a regular human, having arrived there after crawling into Santa's toy sack as a baby. This comes as a huge shock to Buddy, even though he is much taller than the other elves and not very good at making toys it has never dawned on him that he could be different.

He soon sets off to New York to find his father but on meeting him his father shuts him out and doesn't want to get to know him. 

Will Buddy's persistence pays off? Will he be able to get his father to believe in Christmas and festive cheer?

Elf is one of our favourite Christmas movies and with Will Ferrell at Buddy you are guaranteed laughs from start to finish.
