Diary Zapp is an app designed to help your child get creative and record their activities. Whether it be adventures outdoors, literacy homework or the latest arts and craft project, it can be recorded and shared with grown-ups. Created by the Dance family, the app is ideal for those with school age children.
As we get ready for Joseph to start school next year I want to be as prepared as possible. I've priced the uniform, have visits to schools lined up and feel overly emotionally already! To take my mind off the emotional side of things I've been trying to look at the practical side. Reading up on what homework to expect and what books to buy but I hadn't really thought about how phone apps can come into it. So when Diary Zapp contacted me to trial their app I was intrigued as to how it could help with Joseph's school life and I decided to give it a try!
The app was easy to find in the Apple store and didn't take long to download. It was also super easy to set up Joseph's profile.
The unique illustrations are fun and attention grabbing, making it engaging for little ones. They can record their adventures, make notes about their day and even add photos to their diary!
Parents can review what their children are doing and the children's entries can also be shared with family members or friends. This makes it perfect if there's a parent working away or grandparents that don't live nearby.
I often get asked to try apps and they either don't spike my interest or turnout to be hard to use and of low standard but this certainly isn't the case with Diary Zapp! It will be definitely be staying on my phone ready for school in September! I am really impressed with it and although Joseph is a little young to use it fully at moment, he will definitely be able to use it once those school days role around!
In the mean time we'll be using it to play with our Zappicon, Bob!! We designed him ourselves and he's very fond of selfies!!
