Movie of the week!

This week's movie of the week isn't a long one. Movie that is, not the review! At half an hour long its a good one for quiet time and it will be very familiar to many of you.

This week's movie of the week is...............We're Going on a Bear Hunt! 

An animation of the book, We're Going on a Bear Hunt was first broadcast in the UK on Christmas Eve. The little ones were excited, even parents that had read it over and over and over again were excited!

Just as the book, the children, Stan, Katie, Rosie, Max, the baby, along with Rufus the dog, go out on adventure. The aim is of course to find a bear!

Now, if you've read the book don't think you know the story back to front as it has been expanded and developed. We see Mum and Dad called away to help Grandma who's having car trouble, which leads the children to have their adventure.

As the story movies on through the mud, forest and snowstorm, Rosie becomes the lead character. As her and Rufus become detached from the others, Rosie discovers just what they've been looking for! A BEAR! 

She is friendly towards him and he seems glad of her company but when they are spotted side by side Rosie is dragged all the way home by her fearful siblings.

Will they making it home before the bear catches them up? Will Mum and Dad know they've been on an adventure?? 

We're Going on a Bear Hunt is entertaining and easy to watch. With voices by Olivia Coleman and Pam Ferris and animation strikingly similar to the book, We're Going on a Bear Hunt is entertaining and easy to watch.  

Its ideal to snuggle down to and has been Joseph's favourtie for quiet time this week!
