Movie of the week!

Regular readers will know that I run a weekly book review due to my little ones obsession with reading and being read to. Books though aren't the only form of entertainment he likes as he's also partial to the a bit of television!

Now let me be clear. He doesn't sit in front of the TV for hours and hours on end. He spends most of his time playing with his toys, especially his cars but when something grabs his attention he'll sit and watch it.

Like lots of children he has lots of sudden obsessions and we find ourselves reading the same books and watching the same films or TV shows over and over again. So, just as we do with the books I thought I'd start sharing our movie of the week!

This weeks movie is Monster University!

Joseph spotted this on the shelf and it has been a firm favourite for a week now.

Not seen it?

Monster's University is the story of our two favourite monsters, Mike and Sully, meeting for the very first time and who'd have thought they didn't even like each other to begin with???

Ejected from the Scare Program, Mike and Sully, must team up to win the Scare Games and secure their place back on the course. Along with a group of fellow rejects they try their best to outwit and beat the cool kids.

With voices from Billy Crystal, John Goodman and Helen Mirran, Monsters University is a funny tale of friendship and teamwork.

I have to warn you though, it maybe a U certificate but some smaller children may find a few parts a bit scary. Joseph doesn't. He loves to be made jump and likes the scarier parts. Weirdo.

Monsters University is definitely a film you can watch time and time again without wanting to bang your head against a wall! A must have for your collection!

You can currently get your hands on a copy at Amazon here.

Enjoy!
